Whereas, Pedro Rafael de la Cruz, has been appointed as a Constable pursuant to Resolution 7R9-g adopted by the Municipal Council on May 2, 2012; and
Whereas, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-125, Pedro Rafael de la Cruz, must give a bond in such form and amount as prescribed by the Governing Body and approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
The Constable Bond in the amount of $1,000.00 issued to Pedro Rafael de la Cruz, 60 4th Street, Newark, NJ, for a term commencing on April 19, 2012 and ending April 18, 2013, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.
The Municipal Council ratifies the acceptance of the bond to April 19, 2012.

This resolution authorizes Pedro Rafael de la Cruz to a one-year term as Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey.
