WHEREAS, the City of Newark on or about June 13, 2012 posted on the City of Newark’s website, a Notice of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Legal Services in connection with Election Matters, which services are excluded from the requirement of public advertising and bidding pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(i) and (l); and
WHEREAS, one (1) statement of qualifications was received in response to the solicitation from Chasan Leyner & Lamparello, P.C., 300 Harmon Meadow Blvd., Secaucus, New Jersey 07094; and
WHEREAS, after a review of the submission, the City Clerk recommends the acceptance of the proposal from Chasan Leyner & Lamparello, P.C., 300 Harmon Meadow Blvd., Secaucus, New Jersey 07094, as it was found to be in the best interest of the City of Newark to accept, price and other factors considered; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark wishes to enter into a contract with Chasan Leyner & Lamparello, P.C., 300 Harmon Meadow Blvd., Secaucus, New Jersey 07094, to provide legal services to the Office of the Cit...
