Whereas, the Mayor of the City of Newark is desirous of supporting the use of facilities within the Science Park High School for the Newark Financial Planning Day to be held at Science Park High School, 262 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, October 6, 2012, 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Mayor of the City of Newark has indicated his support of this program which will benefit the families and residents of the City of Newark; and
Whereas, Newark Public Schools require that the City of Newark submit a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement indemnifying Newark Public Schools from any claims arising out of the use of its property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Newark Municipal Council supports the efforts of the Mayor’s Office to conduct the Newark Financial Planning Day to be held at Science Park High School Auditorium, Classrooms and Cafeteria, 262 Norfolk Street, Newark, New Jersey on Saturday, October 6, 2012 beginning at 7:00 A.M. and ending at 5:00 P.M.
2. The Newark Municipal Council supports the Insurance Fund Commission’s execution of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement arising out of the usage of the above referenced Newark Public School’s property on the above date and time.
