Whereas, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-120 et Seq., the City of Newark is authorized to appoint up to 50 Constables.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY THAT:
1. Ramona T. Williams, 221 Kerrigan Blvd., Newark, New Jersey, be and she is hereby appointed Constable for a term from date of adoption to the expiration of the bond, in accordance with her application to serve warrants and court writs.
2. Prior to entering upon the execution of her office and no later than thirty (30) days after the effective date of the appointment, the aforesaid appointee shall submit a Constable Bond, which shall be approved as to form, amount and sufficiency of Surety by Resolution of the Municipal Council.

This resolution authorizes Ramona T. Williams to serve as Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey for a term as stated from date of adoption to the expiration of the bond.
