WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-120 et seq., the City of Newark is authorized to appoint up to 50 Constables.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. Tyrone Johnson, Sr., 825 South 13th Street, Newark, New Jersey 07108, be and he is hereby appointed Constable from date of adoption to the expiration of the bond, in accordance with his application to serve warrants and subpoenas.
2. Prior to entering upon the execution of his office and no later than thirty (30) days after effective date of the appointment, the aforesaid appointee shall submit a Constable Bond, which shall be approved as to form, amount and sufficiency of Surety by Resolution of the Municipal Council.

This resolution authorizes Tyrone Johnson, Sr. to serve as a Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey for a term from date of adoption to the expiration of the bond.
