Whereas, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-120 et seq., the City of Newark is authorized to appoint up to 50 Constables.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. Shadid J. Webb, 54 Vermont Avenue, Newark, New Jersey, be and he is hereby appointed Constable for a term from date of adoption to the expiration of the bond, in accordance with his application to serve warrants, evictions and security detail.
2. Prior to entering upon the execution of his office and no later than thirty (30) days after the effective date of the appointment, the aforesaid appointee shall submit a Constable Bond, which shall be approved as to form, amount and sufficiency of Surety by Resolution of the Municipal Council.

This resolution authorizes Shadid J. Webb to serve as a Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey, for a term from the date of adoption to the expiration of the bond.
