A motion requesting that the Administration, Office of Affirmative Action and Set Aside Program, provide the Municipal council with a status report on the Administration's efforts to monitor contractor's compliance with the City's First Source Ordinance and Affirmative Action Plan with regard to construction job sites throughout the City to ensure that Newark residents are adequately employed and represented at these work sites; further, requesting that the Manager of the Office of Affirmative Action be prepared and available to discuss said report with the Governing Body at a future Special Conference of the Municipal Council.
