Whereas, Jamil Brewer, was appointed as a Constable pursuant to Resolution 7R9-b adopted at the March 20, 2013 Regular Municipal Council meeting; and
Whereas, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-125, Jamil Brewer must give a bond within thirty (30) days of the initial adoption of the resolution of appointment, in such form and legality by the Corporation Counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
The term of the Constable appointment of Jamil Brewer is for a term of three (3) years from the date of his appointment or the date of expiration of the Constable Bond, whichever occurs first. The Constable Bond, in the amount of $1,000.00 issued to Jamil Brewer, 263 Lehigh Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07112, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.

This resolution approves the form, amount and sufficiency of the Constable Bond issued to Jamil Brewer, appointed as a Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey, for a term of three (3) years from the date of his appointment or the expiration of the Constable Bond, whichever occurs first.
