WHEREAS, Alterik Hardy, was appointed Constable pursuant to Resolution 7R9-a, August 7, 2013, at the regular Municipal Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A.40A:9-125, Alterik Hardy, must give a bond within thirty (30) days of the initial adoption of the resolution of appointment, in such form and amount as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The term of the Constable appointment of Alterik Hardy, if for a period of three (3) years from the date of the Constable Bond to its expiration whichever occurs first.
2. The Constable Bond, in the amount of $1,000.00 issued to Alterik Hardy, 187 Parker Street, Newark, New Jersey 07104, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.
STATEMENT
This resolution hereby authorizes and approves as to form, amount and sufficiency the Constable Bond for Alterik Hardy, 187 Parker Street, Newark, New Jersey 07104, who was appointed to serve as Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey, for a period of three (3) years from the date of appointment and/or the expiration of the Constable Bond, whichever occurs first.
