      Whereas, Edward Lamore has played a major role in the productivity of this community; and  
 
Whereas, the residents of the City of Newark is very fond of the accomplishments of this consummate public servant; and
 
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council wants to commemorate the progress made by Edward Lamore in the community by designating street signage in his honor for all residents to enjoy.
 
  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT it does hereby authorize the naming the corner of  Summit and James Streets as Edward Lamore Way for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
 
1.      Naming of Summit Street and James Street as Edward Lamore Way for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
 
2.      The names of said streets shall remain Summit Street and James Street in their entirety.
