NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT
For Calendar Year 2014 the following scheduled days shall be considered as paid holidays.
January 1 New Year's Day
January 20 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday (Observed)
February 12 Lincoln's Birthday
February 17 Washington's Birthday (Observed)
April 18 Good Friday
May 26 Memorial Day (Observed)
July 4 Independence Day
September 1 Labor Day
October 13 Columbus Day (Observed)
November 4 Election Day
November 11 Veteran's Day
