WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-125, Shadid Jamal Webb, must give a bond within thirty (30) days of the initial adoption of the resolution of appointment, in such form and amount as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The term of the Constable appointment of Shadid Jamal Webb, is for a period of three (3) years from the date of appointment or the expiration of the Constable Bond, whichever occurs first.
2. The Constable Bond, in the amount of $1,000.00 issued to Shadid Jamal Webb, 54 Vermont Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.
STATEMENT
This resolution hereby authorizes and approves as to form, amount and sufficiency the Constable Bond for Shadid Jamal Webb, 54 Vermont Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, who was appointed to serve as Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey, for a period of three (3) years.
