WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Fourth Annual State of the South Ward Event at George Washington Carver School Auditorium, 333 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey 07112, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 (alternate date - Thursday, February 27, 2014), between 4:30 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving of the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of George Washington Carver School Auditorium, 333 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey 07112 on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 (alternate date - Thursday, February 27, 2014), between 4:30 P.M. and 9:00 P.M, for the Fourth Annual State of the South Ward Event .
