AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23:5-14e, PARKING BY PERMIT ONLY IN DESIGNATED RESIDENTIAL AREAS, OF TITLE 23, TRAFFIC AND PARKING, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, 2000, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED, BY ADDING HILLSIDE TERRACE, BETWEEN IVY STREET AND THE NEWARK CITY LINE, TO THE EXISTING PERMIT PARKING AREAS DESIGNATED LIST.

WHEREAS, the residents of Hillside Terrace have submitted a petition for "Parking by Permit Only" on Hillside Terrace between Ivy Street and the Newark City Line, in the West Ward.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
Section 1. That Section 23:5-14e, Parking by Permit Only in Designated Residential Areas, of Title 23, Traffic and Parking, of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey, 2000, be amended and supplemented by adding thereto the following:
Hillside Terrace, both sides between Ivy Street and Newark City Line.
(Hours: 24hrs. / Days: Monday-Sunday)
Section 2. Regulatory signs shall be erected and maintained by the City of Newark.
Section 3. Any ordinance or parts thereof inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon final passage and publication and in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Section 5. This ordinance does not require approval by the Commissioner of Transportation.

This Oordinance allows Parking by Permit Only, on Hillside Terrace between Ivy Street and the Newark City Line, in the West Ward.
