WHEREAS, at the request of the Department of Engineering and review of the traffic operations by New Jersey Transit in conjunction with the City of Newark, Division of Traffic and Signals and pursuant to N.J.S.A 39:4-197(3)(a), the following described location is relocated as a bus stop:
ADDED BUS STOP:
1. In the Central Ward, along West Market Street, eastbound on the southerly side thereof:
Wickliffe Street, nearside
Beginning at the westerly curb line of Wickliffe Street and extending 100ft westerly therefrom.
DELETED BUS STOP:
2. In the Central Ward, along West Market Street, eastbound on the southerly side thereof:
Wickliffe Street, farside
Beginning at the easterly curb line of Wickliffe Street and extending 100ft easterly therefrom.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 39:4-197(3)(a) of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey, a municipality may by ordinance, resolution or regulation designate or delete a bus stop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. In the Central Ward, the following described location be hereby relocated:
From: along West Market Street, eastbound on the southerly side, at Wickliffe Street (farside) beginning at the easterly curb line of Wickliffe Street and extending 100ft easterly therefrom.
To: along West Market Street, eastbound on the southerly side, at Wickliffe Street (nearside) beginning at the westerly curb line of Wickliffe Street and extending 100ft westerly therefrom.
2. No Municipal funds need to be expended for this act.
