BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY:
Section 1. That Title 32, Sewers and Sewage Disposal, Chapter 8 User Charges, Section 4 Rates of Sewer User Charges of the Revised Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey, 2000, as amended and supplemented be and the same is hereby amended as follows:

32:8-4. SEWER USER CHARGE RATE SCHEDULE.
Note: Pursuant to Ordinance No. 6 S&F-f, May 4, 2005, as amended by Ordinance 6 S&F-h, May 17, 2006, as codified in Section 32:8-3, Rates of Sewer User Charges, beginning on January 1, 2007, and annually thereafter, The Director of Water and Sewer Utilities shall adjust the sewer rate not to exceed by the Cost of Living Adjustment. This shall be based on the Implicit Price Deflator for State and Local Governments for New Jersey and published by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Economic Analysis.
RATES OF SEWER USER CHARGES
The sewer rate is calculated per 1,000 cu. ft and is the sum of the sewer rate and the P.V.S.C. rate.

Effective March 1, 2015, the Director of Water and Sewer Utilities is implementing a three-year rate increase for the period March 1, 2015 through December 31, 2017 that shall not exceed the following:
