WHEREAS, on January 7, 2015 through Resolution 7R1-K, the Municipal Council authorized the Mayor and Business Administrator to file a new consolidated plan with HUD, which contains a request for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds in the amount $6,569,453.00, HOME funds in the amount $1,853,743.00, Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA) in the amount of $6,473,182.00 (on behalf of Newark and the "Eligible Metropolitan Area"), and Emergency Solutions Grants funds in the amount of $548,578.00, in compliance with Federal statutes and regulations governing the four aid grant programs; and
WHEREAS, on January 7, 2015 through Resolution 7R1-K, the Municipal Council authorized the Mayor and Business Administrator to enter into four separate agreements with HUD to receive and expend FY 2013 Community Development Block Grant funds in the amount of $6,569,453.00, HOME funds in the amount $1,853,743.00, Housing Opportunities for People with AIDS (HOPWA) in the amount of $6,473,182.00 (on behalf of Newark and the "Eligible Metropolitan Area"), and Emergency Solutions Grants funds ...
