WHEREAS, at the request of the Department of Engineering and review of the traffic operations by New Jersey Transit in conjunction with the City of Newark, Division of Traffic and Signals and pursuant to N.J.S.A 39:4-197(3)(a), the following described location is designated as a bus stop:
ADDED BUS STOP:
1. In the West Ward, along South 10th Street, northbound on the easterly side thereof:
Central Ave, nearside
Beginning at the southerly curb line of Central Avenue and extending 105ft southerly therefrom.
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-8(e), a municipality may, by ordinance, resolution or regulation, designate or delete a bus stop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. In the West Ward, the following described location is hereby designated as a bus stop, along South 10th Street, northbound on the easterly side, at Central Avenue (nearside) beginning at the southerly curb line of Central Avenue and extending 105ft southerly therefrom.
2. No Municipal funds need to be expended for this act.
3. No Amendment will be made to this resolution without the approval of the Municipal Council of the City of Newark.
4. Upon approval, the Department of Engineering will forward a copy of this resolution to the Office of the City Clerk to notify them of the Local Government's approval for the designation of a bus stop as stated.
5. Upon approval, a certified copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to New Jersey Transit to notify them...
