WHEREAS, the City of Newark, Department of Water and Sewer Utilities, requires professional engineering services to provide South Street and Adam Street Area Drainage Improvements; and
WHEREAS, on November 19, 2015, the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities, issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) and distributed twelve (12) RFP packages to prospective vendors following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on January 27, 2016, the City received three (3) proposals in response to the RFP; and
WHEREAS, Michael Baker International, Inc., 100 Airside Drive, Moon Township, Pennsylvania 15108-2783, submitted a proposal for this work which the City found to be in its best interest; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an agreement with Michael Baker International, Inc., 100 Airside Drive, Moon Township, Pennsylvania 15108-2783, to provide engineering services for South Street and Adam Street Area Drainage Improvements, in an amount not to exceed Five Hundred Nineteen Thousand Eight Hundred Eighty-One Dollars and Nine Cents ($519,881.09); a...
