WHEREAS, the City of Newark applied for and was awarded grant funds from the United States Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Office for Victims of Crime, for the City's "FY15 Supporting Male Survivors of Violence Demonstration Project"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark, Department of Health and Community Wellness desires to obtain planning, research and evaluative services relative to the City's "FY15 Supporting Male Survivors of Violence Demonstration Project"; and
WHEREAS, Rutgers University, an instrumentality of the State of New Jersey, has the ability and resources to provide such services as outlined in the above-mentioned City grant application; and
