WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting "Fado, Folklore e Mais Fado," as part of the celebration of Portugal Day in Newark, at East Side High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105 (Auditorium), on Sunday, May 21, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of East Side High School, 238 Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105 (Auditorium), on Sunday, May 21, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. for "Fado, Folklore e Mais Fado," as part of the celebration of Portugal Day in Newark.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmles...
