WHEREAS, on December 20, 2016, the City of Newark through its Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, advertised to solicit bids for Maintenance and Repair: Collision Body Work, Heavy Duty Vehicles and Trucks Over One (1) Ton, which the contractor will provide to the City of Newark, for the Departments of Public Works/Division of Motors' and the Water and Sewer Utilities' usage as described in the attached bid proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing solicited thirteen (13) bids from prospective vendor (s) from its established bid list, and
WHEREAS, on January 5, 2017, the Division of Central Purchasing received two (2) bids in response to this advertisement; and
