WHEREAS, the Dominican Music Festival is an annual event that provides the community the opportunity to come together and enjoy themselves for a fun-filled and wholesome family event; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support and co-sponsorship of this year’s annual music festival, to be held on Broadway and ending at Lake Street and Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, New Jersey, on Sunday, September 3, 2017, from 12:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council does hereby support and co-sponsors the Dominican Music Festival to be held on Broadway and ending at Lake Street and Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, New Jersey, on Sunday, September 3, 2017, from 12:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
