WHEREAS, the Puerto Rican Day Boricua Music Festival is an annual event that provides the community the opportunity to come together and enjoy themselves for a fun-filled, wholesome family event; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support and co-sponsorship of this year’s Annual Puerto Rican Day Boricua Music Festival to be held at Verona Avenue between Mount Prospect Avenue and McCarter Highway, on Sunday, September 17, 2017, from 3:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council does hereby support and co-sponsor the Annual Puerto Rican Day Boricua Music Festival to be held at Verona Avenue between Mount Prospect Avenue and McCarter Highway, on Sunday, September 17, 2017, from 3:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
