WHEREAS, on July 11, 2017, the City of Newark through its Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, advertised to solicit bids for contractors to provide Cellular Data Acquisitions, Alerts and Analytics System NTCIP Compatible to the City of Newark's Engineering Department as per the bid proposal attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing also distributed four (4) bid proposal packages to prospective vendors following the July 11, 2017, advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on July 27, 2017, one (1) bid was received in response to the advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, reviewed the bid and determined that the specifications for Cellular Data Acquisitions, Alerts and Analytics System NTCIP Compatible needed to be revised by the user agency; and
WHEREAS, the revision of the specifications included a change in the name from Cellular Data Acquisitions...
