WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Back to School Rally at Malcom X Shabazz High School Field, 80 Johnson Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07102, sponsored by Council Member, Carlos M. Gonzalez, on Thursday, August 30, 2018 (Rain Date: Friday, August 31, 2018), from 12:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. (includes setup begin time at 11:00 A.M. and breakdown end time at 7:15 P.M.); and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event for the benefit of Newark residents by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Public School, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Malcom X Shabazz High School Field, 80 Johnson Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108, for a Back to School Rally on Thursday, August 30, 2018 (Ra...
