WHEREAS, on April 10, 2018, the City of Newark, through it's Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, advertised to solicit bids for contractor(s) to provide Rental of Parking Spaces in a Lot or a Garage to the Office of the City Clerk/Municipal Council, as per the bid proposal attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing also distributed four (4) bid proposal packages to prospective vendors following the April 10, 2018, advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on April 26, 2018, one (1) bid was received in response to the April 10, 2018 advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Office of the City Clerk recommends the Rental of Parking Spaces in a Lot or a Garage, be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, J & L Parking Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, concurs with the recommendation from the Office of the City Clerk that an award be made to J & L Parking Corporation, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; and
