WHEREAS, The State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and Economic Opportunity granted the City of Newark the following WorkFirst New Jersey funds through the Newark Workforce Development Board (NWDB) for State Fiscal Year 2019 (July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019) which must be fully obligated by June 30, 2019 and fully expended by no later than December 31, 2019; and
WHEREAS, a minimum of 75% of the funding is required to be committed by December 31, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the funds will be allocated as follows:
