WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Branch Brook Park Visitor Center, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104 (between Heller Parkway and Mill Street), on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. (Includes Set-up time at 8:00 A.M. and Cleanup/Take-Down completed at 5:00 P.M.). Rain Date Saturday, April 27, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Branch Brook Park Visitor Center 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104 (between Heller Parkway and Mill Street) for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. (Includes Set-up time at 8:00 A.M. and Cleanup/Take-down completed at 5:00 P.M.); Rain Date Saturday, April 27, 2019.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

This resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Branch Brook Park Visitor Center, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104 (between Heller Parkway and Mill Street) on Saturday, April 20, 2019, from 12:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.
