WHEREAS, on May 1, 2018 the City of Newark through its Purchasing Agent, QPA, advertised to solicit bids for contractors to provide maintenance and services for the Combined Sewer Overflow Regulators and internal relief points for the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities; and
WHEREAS, on May 17, 2018 the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities received two (2) bids in response to the advertisement and rejected both because (1) National Water Main Cleaning Company altered the price schedule and (2) Reivax Contracting was not registered with the Office of Special Taxes; and
WHEREAS, on June 12, 2018 the City of Newark through its QPA, re-advertised to solicit bids for contractors to provide maintenance and services for the Combined Sewer Overflow Regulators and internal relief points for the ...
