The Urban League of Essex County Fairmount Heights Street Fair will be held on Central Avenue and West Market Street between Littleton Avenue and 4th Street (West Ward), from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
The City of Newark's Special Event Permit Application Fee ($250) for the street fair will be waived.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is supportive of community events that provide wholesome family entertainment that allows residents the opportunity to gather and renew old acquaintances and establish new ones; and
WHEREAS, the Urban League of Essex County Fairmount Heights Street Fair sets an example for other West Ward communities on how to strengthen and improve their communities through social interactions and family gatherings; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support of the Urban League of Essex County Fairmount Heights Street Fair, being held on Central Avenue and West Market Street between Littleton Avenue and 4th Street, on Saturday, August 31, 2019, from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council does hereby indicate its support of the Urban League of Essex County Fairmount Heights Street Fair being held on Central Avenue and West Market Street between Littleton Avenue and 4th Street, on Saturday, August 31, 2019, from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
2. The Municipal Council waives the City of Newark's Special Event Permit Application Fee ($250.00), however, it does not waive insurance coverage req...
