WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Senior Luncheon at Seth Boyden Elderly, 46 Evergreen Avenue , Newark, New Jersey 07114, on Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Seth Boyden Elderly, 46 Evergreen Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07114, for a Senior Luncheon, on Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
