WHEREAS, the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development has provided Thirty Seven Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($37,000.00) in Workforce Learning Link funds to the Newark Workforce Development Area for State Fiscal Year 2021 (July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021); and
WHEREAS, no application was required for the City of Newark to receive these grant funds; and
WHEREAS, this is an annual grant allocation from the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development which must be used in accordance with guidelines stated in the Notice of Award and must be incorporated into Program Year 2020 Workforce Development Area Contract; and
WHEREAS, these grant funds must be fully obligated by June 30, 2021 and fully expended by December 31, 2021; and
