WHEREAS, the Department of Health and Community Wellness provides medical care services pursuant to and consistent with Health Care Program Statutes (Section 330 of Public Health Services Act: 42 U.S.C. Section 254b), Program Regulation (43CFR part 51 and 42 CFR 56.201) for Community and Migrant Health Centers and Grant Regulations (42 CFR part 74), Affordable Health Care Act; and

WHEREAS, the United States Department of Health and Human Resources Health, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), has made grant funds available to end the HIV epidemic; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Health and Community Wellness/Mary Eliza Mahoney Health Center, as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is the direct recipient of these Primary Care HIV Prevention/Ending the HIV Epidemic funds; and
