WHEREAS, on May 26, 2021 the City of Newark, through its Purchasing Agent, QPA, (the "City") advertised to solicit bids for contractors to provide Maintenance and Repair: Water Meters, Remote Reading Device Touch Pads and MXUs (Meter Transreceiver Units that permit off-site water meter readings) and SmartPoint (radio transreceiver that allows inbound and outbound access to water measurements and ancillary device diagnostics) - Testing, Repairing and Installation for the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities as described in the attached bid proposal; and
