WHEREAS, the State of New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and Economic Opportunity granted the City of Newark the following Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant (formerly Workforce Investment Act) through the Newark Workforce Development Board (NWDB), for Program Year 2022 (July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023) for Adult, Dislocated Workers and Youth; and
WHEREAS, the Program Year 2022 funds must be eighty percent (80%) obligated by June 30, 2023 and it must be fully expended by June 30, 2024; and
