The 2nd Street Block Association Halloween Trunk/Treat will be held at 199 2nd Street between Orange Street and 7th Avenue, from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M., on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
The City of Newark's Special Event Permit Application Fees ($50.00) for street closure will be waived.

WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is supportive of community events that provide wholesome family entertainment and education that allows residents the opportunity to gather and renew old acquaintances and establish new ones; and
WHEREAS, 2nd Street Block Association Halloween Trunk/Treat provides the City of Newark the perfect opportunity to collaborate with various support groups and organizations, families and friends that will be able to enjoy some community event; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support of the 2nd Street Block Association Halloween Trunk/Treat to be held at 199 2nd Street between Orange Street and 7th Avenue, from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council does hereby indicate its support of the 2nd Street Block Association Halloween Trunk/Treat to be held at 199 2nd Street between Orange Street and 7th Avenue, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
2. The Municipal Council is co-sponsoring this special event and waives the City of Newark's Special Event Permit Application Fee of Fifty Dollars and Zero Cents ($50.00), however, it does not waive insurance coverage requ...
