NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
For Calendar Year 2023 the following scheduled days shall be considered as paid holidays.
January 2 New Year’s Day (Observed)
January 16 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday (Observed)
February 13 Lincoln’s Birthday (Observed)
February 20 Washington’s Birthday (Observed)
April 7 Good Friday
May 29 Memorial Day
June 19 Juneteenth
July 4 Independence Day
