Resolution 7R6-j, adopted on July 13, 2022, awarded a contract for the period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022 for an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.
This First Amendment will increase the contract amount by $125,000.00, for a new total contract amount not to exceed $175,000.00.

WHEREAS, legal services are Professional Services and are exempt from the requirements for public bidding, pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law, more specifically, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(i); and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council, by Resolution 7R6-j, adopted on July 13, 2022, awarded a contract to Rainone, Coughlin, Minchello, LLC, 555 US Highway One South, Suite 440, Iselin, New Jersey 08830, to provide legal services as Labor and Employment Counsel, in an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($50,000.00), for a period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Rainone, Coughlin, Minchello, LLC, on or about May 2022 expended the Fifty Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($50,000.00) and continued to provide legal services at the request of the Corporation Counsel for the remainder of the contract period...
