WHEREAS, on November 6, 2024, a Pre-Meeting of the Municipal Council was convened in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, during said Pre-Meeting the Newark Municipal Council desired to discuss under closed session attorney-client privilege matters pertaining to Pre-Litigation Settlement.
WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b)(7) authorizes the exclusion of the public from discussions concerning said matters; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council by this Resolution adopted at said Pre-Meeting on November 6, 2024, commencing at 10:05 A.M. and ending at 10:25 A.M. voted to exclude the public from said discussion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The part of the Pre-Meeting of the Newark Municipal Council containing the discussion on such, session attorney-client privileged matters pertaining to Pre-Litigation Settlement, is closed to the members of the public under the provisions of N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b)(7).
