WHEREAS, the Municipal Council is desirous of using Central High School (Foyer, Gym and Cafeteria), 246 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108, for Councilwoman LaMonica R. McIver’s, Central Ward Basketball Camp, on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its’ support for this program with the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Board of Education, Central High School, 246 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Board of Education, for the use of Central High School (Foyer, Gym and Cafeteria), 246 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108, for Councilwoman LaMonica R. McIver’s, Central Ward Basketball Camp, on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public Schools, 765 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark, Insurance Fund Commission, shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

This Resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark’s Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Newark Board of Education, for the use of Central High School (Foyer, Gym and Cafeteria), 246 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108, for Councilwoman LaMonica R.
