WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 7R8-c(as), adopted on February 1, 2017, the Municipal Council supported the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for a Community Meeting at Dr. William H. Horton Elementary School, 291 North 7th Street, Newark, New Jersey 07107, (Cafeteria or Auditorium and Restrooms), on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Community Meeting was rescheduled from Thursday, February 9, 2017 to Wednesday, February 22, 2017, between 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M as the result of inclement weather conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports amending the date of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of the Dr. William H. Horton Elementary School, 291 North 7th Street, Newark, New Jersey 07107 (Cafeteria or Auditorium and Restrooms), from Thursday, February 9, 2017 to Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the amended Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed amended Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City’s Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

This resolution supports amending the date of a previously issued Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Dr. William H. Horton Elementary School, 291 North 7th Street, Newark, New Jersey 07107 (Cafeteria or Auditorium and Restrooms), from Thursday, February 9, 2017 to Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. for a Community Meeting, sponsored by Councilman Joseph A. McCallum, Jr.
