WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 40A:4-60, as amended, provides for cancellations of part, of the unencumbered balances appropriated from the 2025 Current Fund, Water Utility Fund, Sewer Utility Fund, Capital Improvement Authorizations, Other Miscellaneous Receivables and Reserves, Public and Private Programs, and Trust Funds; and
WHEREAS, there are no specific claims, commitments, or contracts incurred against the aforementioned unencumbered balances of which the details are subject to correction:
Current Fund
Water Utility Fund
Sewer Utility Fund
Capital Improvement Authorizations
Other Miscellaneous Receivables and Reserves
Public and Private Programs
Trust Funds; and
WHEREAS, unencumbered balances of 2025 Current Fund, Water Utility Fund, Sewer Utility Fund, Capital Improvement Authorizations, Other Miscellaneous Receivables and Reserves, Public and Private Programs, and Trust Funds will be cancelled subject to change and recorded on the books and records of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
The 2025 Current Fund, Water Utility Fund, Sewer Utility Fund, Capital Improvement Authorizations, Other Miscellaneous Receivables and Reserves, Public and Private Programs, and Trust Funds are cancelled subject to change and recorded on the books and records of the City.
STATEMENT
This Resolution provides for cancellations of part, or of all, unencumbered balances in the Budget Appropriations for the 2025 Current Fund, Water Utility Fund, Sewer Utility Fund, Capital Improvement Authorizations, Other Miscellaneous Receivables and Reserves, Public and Private Programs, and Trust Funds is effective December 31, 2025
