WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Kids’ Day at Ann Street School Playground, at 30 Ann Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Sunday, October 18, 2014, from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M.; and,
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Ann Street School Playground, at 30 Ann Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on Sunday, October 18, 2015, from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
STATEMENT
This resolution authorizes the support of and the issuance by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Ann Street School Playground, at 30 Ann Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, for the Honorable Councilman Augusto Amador’s Kids’ Day, on Sunday, October 18, 2015, from 12:00 Noon until 6:00 P.M.
