WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Partnership West Inc. Business Improvement at Speedway Academies, 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, sponsored by Council Member, Joseph A. McCallum, Jr., on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event for the benefit of Newark residents by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Speedway Academies, 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, for the Partnership West Inc. Business Improvement, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

This resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Speedway Academies, 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., for the Partnership West Inc. Business Improvement, sponsored by Council Member, Joseph A. McCallum, Jr.
