WHEREAS, Oliver Richard Mayson was appointed Constable pursuant to Resolution 7R9-e, adopted at the June 19, 2013 Regular Municipal Council Meeting; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A-125, Oliver Richard Mayson must give a bond within thirty (30) days of the initial adoption of the resolution of appointment, in such form and amount as prescribed by the Governing Body and required by Ordinance and approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
- The term of the Constable appointment of Oliver Richard Mayson, is for a period three (3) years from the date of appointment or the expiration of the Constable Bond, whichever occurs first.
- The Constable Bond, in the amount of $1,000.00 issued to Oliver Richard Mayson, of 195 - 1st Street, Newark, New Jersey 07107, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.
STATEMENT
This resolution hereby authorizes and approves as to form, amount and sufficiency the Constable Bond issued to Oliver Richard Mayson, 195 - 1st Street, Newark, New Jersey 07107, who was appointed to serve as a Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey, for a period of three (3) years.
