This Resolution will amend the original Resolution by rescinding the contract award to DRS Imaging Services, LLC, 43 Fadem Road, Springfield, New Jersey 07081, due to non-execution of the contract.

WHEREAS, Resolution 7R1-j adopted on December 21, 2022 by the Municipal Council authorized the Qualified Purchasing Agent (the “QPA”), to enter into and execute a contract with DRS Imaging Services, LLC located at 43 Fadem Road, Springfield, New Jersey 07081 to provide Consulting Services: Organizational Development (Microfilming, Scanning and Storage Solutions) for the Department of Economic and Housing Development in the City of Newark for an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($100,000.00), for a period not to exceed twenty-four (24) consecutive months, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing mailed the contract for execution to DRS Imaging Services, LLC on or about February 10, 2023; and
WHEREAS, DRS Imaging Services LLC, failed to provide the signed contract; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing now wishes to rescind Resolution 7R1-j adopted on December 21, 2022 and the contract award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council hereby amends Resolution 7R1-j adopted on December 21, 2022 and rescinds the contract awarded to DRS Imaging Services, LLC located at 43 Fadem Road, Springfield, New Jersey 07081, to provide Consulting Services: Organizational Development (Microfilming, Scanning and Storage Solutions).
2. Any authority to enter into and executed a contract pursuant thereto is null and void.
STATEMENT
This resolution rescinds resolution 7R1-j adopted on December 21, 2022, which awarded a contract to DRS Imaging Services, LLC located at 43 Fadem Road, Springfield, New Jersey 07081 to provide Consulting Services: Organizational Development (Microfilming, Scanning and Storage Solutions) for the Department of Economic and Housing Development for an amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents ($100,000.00), for a period not to exceed twenty-four (24) consecutive months, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-15.
