WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Senior Father’s and Mother’s Day Festivities Brunch/Lunch at (1) Essex Plaza Senior Building, (2) James C. White, (3) Seth Boyden, and (4) Senior Housing on Monday, June 17, 2019 and Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this community event by supporting issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Housing Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of senior buildings (community rooms) located at: (1) Essex Plaza Senior Building, 1060 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102; (2) James C. White, 516 Bergen Street, Newark, New Jersey 07108; (3) Seth Boyden, 130 Dayton Street, Newark, New Jersey 07114; and (4) Senior Housing, 46 Evergreen Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07114 for the Senior Father’s and Mother’s Day Festivities Brunch/Lunch on Monday, June 17, 2019 and Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.

This resolution supports the issuance, by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of the senior buildings (community rooms) located at(1) Essex Plaza Senior Building, 1060 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102; (2) James C.
