WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting Council Member Ras J. Baraka's use of the Auditorium at Belmont Runyon Elementary School for a South Ward Community Easter Day Celebration, 1 Belmont Runyon Way, Newark, New Jersey 07108, on Sunday, April 8, 2012, from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Council has indicated its support of this program, which will benefit the children, families and residents of the City of Newark.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission agrees to execute a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Belmont Runyon Elementary School, 1 Belmont Runyon Way, Newark, New Jersey, 07108, on Sunday, April 8, 2012, between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council shall, forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Public Schools for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
