WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Barringer High School Annual Tailgate Party at Newark Schools Stadium, 450 Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07107 (First Avenue Entrance, Restrooms), on Thursday, November 24, 2016, from 7:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Newark Schools Stadium, 450 Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07107 (First Avenue Entrance, Restrooms), on Thursday, November 24, 2016, from 7:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
STATEMENT
This resolution supports the issuance by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Newark Schools Stadium, 450 Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07107 (First Avenue Entrance, Restrooms), on Thursday, November 24, 2016, from 7:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M., for the Barringer High School Annual Tailgate Party, sponsored by Councilman, Luis A. Quintana.
